Why an online meeting place for these two friends? Because Yen-Yen (or Alena) is in California, USA while Mars (or Marcelle) is in Makati City, Philippines.As college sophomores in University of Sto.Tomas, Manila back in 1992, Yen-yen and Mars instantly became the best of friends. Yen-yen had to leave for the States 2 years after to join her family. However, this did not end the friendship despite the inconvenience of keeping in touch. Emails and cellphones weren't that popular then. And the time demands of college studies and work was also there. However letters, cards and gift packages kept them together the past years. And thanks to technology, we've created this webpage to further bridge the gap of time and space.
 
"The main goal of this webpage is to share inspiration by posting info, articles, photos, stories, etc. Here is where my friend Yen-yen and I keep in touch, but we also want to share the joy to other people who have an impact in our lives... they are our loved ones at home, work and school. They are also the people whom we don't know personally but had been our role models through their works on media (films, books, etc.) Yen and I thank you all for your unselfishness, concern and honorable ways.
