About the Webmaster

Marcelle was 9 when she first discovered her pasion in computer programming. Her parents bought an Apple II computer in the summer of 1983. Some of her past works as a kid were programs about security gates, animated aircrafts and other nerd stuffs.

As a grown-up (really?), but still a 9-year-old by heart, she uses this nerdy 'gift' to good use ... to dedicate a webpage for her bestfriend, Yen-Yen.

Technical Background
She took up formal web-designing courses and Visual Basic programming in Meralco Foundation Institute in Ortigas, Metro Manila. She considers this down-to-earth school as the best in computer science. "The place is just full of positive 'chi'... and everyone's really cool and gifted."

Marcy also studied Advance Visual Basic and more Systems Analyst subjects in Genetic Computer Institute, Makati City.

Professional Works Online
Though Marcy is a science teacher, she is also a free-lance computer programmer and web-designer. Some of her professional works online are:
  • Catherine Yang's Official Webpage - Bloomberg Television's Catherine Yang (in Tokyo and Hong Kong) shares her inspirational stories of her 12 years career in tv journalism, and being the Best Newscaster in Asia for two years in a row. Best of all, Cathy is the best friend of Marcy's sister, Pauline.

"Yen-Yen and I were best buddies in college, but when she left for the States in sophomore year, it really broke my heart, but partly, I was happy for her because of the new adventures coming her way. We endlessly talk about arts and music because Yen is a gifted soprano and one of our school's pride in singing. Painting and reading literary books were our escape from the demanding real world. This is what this site is all about ... things that Yen and I used to share with each other to cheer ourselves and other people too... and to re-orient ourselves about the meaning of life. I easily get lost in the busy-ness of life, but I'm glad I have Yen-Yen to remind me to stop and smell the roses... and sing to energize my soul. I couldn't thank her enough for all she has done. I'm sure she used to be my bestfriend too in many pastlives ... I thank God for meeting her again in this life. It must be good karma."
